Some Friendly Entrepreneurial Competition
The 4th Annual LaunchTown Entrepreneurship Awards event was a huge success last week. The idea competition is open to graduate students, with awards for the best ideas presented. With over 100 people in attendance, LaunchTown judges (including JumpStart’s Robert Hatta) provided feedback to teams of young entrepreneurs and awarded money to the winner, LifeServe Innovations, led by Richard Arlow. Coming up in competitions is the TiE Ohio Idea Competition on May 20th, featuring JumpStart’s Lynn-Ann Gries as a judge. Open to all Ohio-based entrepreneurs, this is the first idea competition offered by TiE Ohio. The winners will receive a prize package of legal and accounting support, incubator space, a one-year membership to TiE Ohio, and more. The deadline for applications is Monday, May 10th.
